I have been in the field of photography for over a decade. I love to shoot outdoors, and enjoy when a client has their own special vision for the photoshoot. Currently, I am working full time with my family, and pursuing photography on my off time from that. I have been married since 2017 and have two wonderful daughters.
My favorite part of being a photographer is the relationships that have been created along the way. From taking engagement photos, to the wedding, to then being called for maternity photos, newborns, and birthdays/events afterward, it is so special to almost be a part of your clients' family, and having the opportunity to document their lives along the way as they grow and change.

My approach
My approach to each session differs with each individual, as every client is so unique. I am always open to client-led sessions, and my main priority is to get you the photos that you are envisioning. I also love when a client gives me the creative freedom to explore new concepts throughout their session. So whether you have a vision set for your photos or a blank canvas of ideas, I am here to listen and accommodate to your personal style.

why "blindshot"?
Shelby gets asked all the time, "How did you come up with the name Blindshot?"
Well oddly enough, Shelby is blind in her left eye from a congenital cataract that she was born with, She is also an avid golfer. One day during a golf tournament, she looked towards the flag and noticed that it was a blind shot to the green. That's when the idea flashed into her head; the irony of being blind in one eye, mixed with the "shooting" of photography, just seemed to make sense.
Immediately, Blindshot Photography was born.
